PART I
GENERAL

LIMITATIONS
Ambient temperature limits:
Maximum temperature for operating radar is 40
°
C.
National safety regulations for radar operations shall be followed.
Do not operate radar within 50 FT (15M) of refueling vehicles or
containers containing flammables or explosives.
Do not operate radar within 100 FT (30M) of refueling operations.
Do not allow personnel within 15 FT (5M) of area being scanned
by antenna when system is transmitting.
Placard:
WEATHER RADAR SYSTEM MUST BE TURNED TO “STBY” OR “OFF” WHEN ON THE GROUND.
