FEATURES

1.  Eyepiece - Look through the eyepiece and adjust

the focusing ring to see your target up close.

2.  Zoom - Find a target and adjust the zoom to see

increased detail and image size. When finding a

target, its best to start with the least amount of

zoom(20x) and center the target. Then increase

the magnification and refocus as needed.

3.  Focusing Ring - Adjust the focusing ring until

the viewed object is sharp. When the zoom is

adjusted, you may need to refocus.

4.  Tube Mounting Ring - Holds the optical tube in

place when connected to the tripod. The optical

tube can be rotated around the optical axis to

put the eyepiece in a better viewing position.

5.  Tube Mounting Ring Lock Knob - Rotate this lock

knob in the counter-clockwise direction to allow

rotation of the optical tube. Tighten this knob

when the eyepiece is in the preferred position.

6.  Optical Tube - Holds the 60mm front lens and

zoom eyepiece in place for stable image quality.

7.  Sun Shade - Extend the Sun Shade to reduce

scattered light or glare from the Sun.

8.  Dust  Cover - Protects the glass lenses in the front

of the spotting scope. Remove the dust cover

before use and always replace when finished.

9.  Table Top Tripod - A stable mounting platform for

the spotting scope.  Place on a picnic table, car

hood or other similar surface to make viewing

thru the scope comfortable.

10. Tripod Mounting Lock Knob - Attach the optical

tube to the tripod by tightening this screw.

11. Pan Handle - Allows for easy operation of the

spotting scope. Use the pan handle to help point

to objects and rotate it to lock the vertical motion.

ASSEMBLY

The 20-60x60mm spotting scope comes separated

from the tripod for easy storage and increased

portability. The optical tube is packed in its carry bag

which provides a convenient way to transport and

protect the spotting scope when not in use.

To assemble the optical tube & tripod, place the

optical tube onto the tripod as shown in the image.

The front 60mm lens should be placed opposite the

pan-handle. Tighten the Tripod Mount Lock Knob

into the base of the Tube Mounting Ring until secure.

Warning! Never point the spotting scope at or near the Sun! Immediate and

permanent eye damage will occur!
