4.3 Charging the battery
WARNING
Only use power adapter and cable that comes with the breast pump. An inadequate power
source or cable may result in a fire hazard, electric shock or malfunction equipment due to
overvoltage. The warranty is only valid when using the Medela power adapter to charge
your pump.

Charge the battery for two hours before using the breast pump for the first time.

2-01 Connect the power cable to the motor unit.

2-02 Connect the power cable to the power adapter.

2-03 Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

The battery display shows all three bars when charging is complete.

WARNING
Do not expose the breast pump or battery to excessive temperatures.
Information
• You can use the breast pump while charging the battery. However, it will charge
in a slower mode when the pump is running.
• The permissible ambient temperature for charging the battery is 5°C - 35°C.
