Extract the Zipped files
•
Unzip the downloaded files and save it as c:\cdDIRECTO\cdDIRECTOR
XXX
•
Browse to the location where the zipped file was saved.
•
Double Click on the cddirXXX.zip folder to open WinZip window. Click
on [I agree] to open WinZip-cddirXXX window.
•
Click on Extract icon. Extract Window will appear. In the Folders/drives
box select c:\cddirector folder. You will see c:\cdDIRECTOR in the Extract
to pull down box. Append \cdDIRECTOR XXX to this box to create a new
folder and click the [extract].

Enter the password provided in the Password box and click [ok].
•
Close WinZip-cddirXXX.zip window.
Reboot the PC
The next step is to stop the World Wide Web publishing service. Once you
run cdDIRECTOR software you might find it difficult to stop World Wide
Web Publishing service. If you did not run our software after rebooting you
could skip to the next step, if not, restart your PC.
Stop World Wide Web Publishing Service

: These instruction are for Windows 2000 O/S.
There are several ways to access services. Only one of the methods is
described here.
•
From the desktop click on start, settings, control panel.
•
In the control panel double click on Administrative Tools icon.
•
In the administrative tools window double click on services.
•
Using the side scroll bar scroll down to World Wide Web Publishing
Service. Click on the WWW publishing service.
•
Right Click anywhere on the highlighted row, in the resulting menu bar,
click stop menu. Service control message box will show the progress in
stopping the service. Once it completes the message box will disappear and
the status column will be blank (prior to stopping the status column would
have indicated “started”).
