Audiotrix Audio Player
Playing a single MIDI file
The Audiotrix 3D-XG and its Audio Player can play standard
MIDI files and the new XG MIDI technology format files
from Yamaha. The MIDI files included with the Audiotrix
3D-XG sound card are all XG MIDI files, providing an
enhanced and realistic sound.
1. Start the Audiotrix Audio Player:

Click on the Start menu of the Task Bar,
x
Click on Programs,
x
Click on Audiotrix 3D-XG,
x
Click on Audiotrix Audio Player.
x
As an alternative, access the Audiotrix Audio Player
from the Audiotrix 3D-XG folder on the Desktop.
2. Open a single MIDI file in the Audiotrix Audio Player:
x
Click on the File menu,
x
Click on Open…,
x
Select MIDI files (*.mid; *.rmi) in the “Files of type”
drop down list,
x
Double-click on the Media folder,
x
Select a MIDI file by clicking on it,
x
Press the Open button. (Alternatively, you can
double-click on the MIDI file.)
