able to operate the following device types:
TV
Television set with videotext
STB
Satellite
receiver
DVD
DVD player or DVD recorder
VCR
Video recorder
AUX
Audio devices, such as CD players, amplifiers
The names on the source keys “
STB
”, “
DVD
”, “
VCR
”, etc. are only for overview
purposes. You may, of course, assign the buttons to other device types (e.g. pay TV
decoder).
The
TV
button cannot be reprogrammed.
Device codes
You must program a four-digit device code to a source key for every device that you
would like to operate with the universal remote control (
STB
,
DVD
,
VCR
,
AUX
).
The abbreviations on the buttons serve only as a reminder. With the exception of the
TV
button you can assign any button to any device (“flex mode”). The
TV
button
cannot be reprogrammed.
If you would like to program a video recorder as a device, then insert a video cassette
beforehand.
Entering the device code according to code list
The codes of the corresponding devices can be found in the list of codes enclosed
with these operating instructions. Proceed as follows:
Switch on the relevant device manually.
Briefly press the required source button (
STB
,
DVD
,
VCR
,
AUX
).
Keep the
CODE
button pressed for approx. three seconds until the blue LED stays
lit.
Enter the four-digit code from the table.
The blue LED will go out briefly each time the button is pressed.
If the entry was valid, the blue LED will go out after the last digit of the code has been
entered. If an invalid code was entered, the blue LED will flash for three seconds
before going out.
If the device does not respond as expected, repeat the programming sequence or try
a different code. Please try all the codes specified for your brand. Select the code to
which all of the available commands of your remote control respond correctly!
