Troubleshooting
Malfunctions can sometimes have quite trivial causes, but they may also be the result
of defective components. We would like to give you a few options for rectifying your
problem. If these tips don’t do the trick, then we’ll be more than pleased to help you
out. Just give us a call!
Troubleshooting
General
The device cannot be switched on.
• Connect the mains adapter firmly into the mains socket.
No picture.
• Choose the correct video input mode of the television so that the image of the de-
vice is displayed.
• Firmly connect the video cable.
• Press
the
OUTPUT
button repeatedly as necessary.
Distorted picture.
• The played back file was recorded with a different colour standard than that of the
television.
• Choose a resolution supported by the television.
No sound.
• Firmly connect the audio cable.
• The amplifier or the amplifier connection for the input source was set incorrectly in
the
[AUDIO DIGITAL OUTPUT]
settings menu.
• The device is performing a search or is in Pause mode.
The remote control is not working correctly.
• The remote control is not pointing towards the remote control sensor of the device.
• The remote control is too far away from the device.
• There is an obstacle between the remote control and the device.
• The battery in the remote control is weak.
The subtitle language cannot be changed or is not displayed.
• The played back file does not contain subtitles.
MP3/WMA/JPEG/DivX files cannot be played back.
• The files were created in a format not supported by the device.
