− Take care to ensure that the plus (+) and minus (−) poles
are correctly inserted to avoid short circuits.
− Do not mix up new and old batteries or different types of
batteries.
This could cause your remote control to malfunction. In addi-
tion, the weaker batteries would discharge too much.
− Remove used batteries from the device immediately. There
is an increased risk of leakage with flat batteries.
− Remove the batteries from the remote control if it is not
going to be used for a long period of time.
− Replace all used batteries in the remote control at the same
time with new batteries of the same type.
− Cover the contacts of the batteries with sticky tape if you
want to store or dispose of them.
− If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before
insertion.
− If the batteries have leaked, wear protective gloves and
clean the contacts thoroughly.
