Timeshift recordings are not stored permanently and shown in the list of
recordings. The timeshift recording is deleted during playback so that it is
possible to view programmes with a time delay continuously, without be-
ing limited to the storage capacity. The memory space required always cor-
responds to the time delay.
9.8.2. Timeshift function during PVR recording
You can also view the programme with a time delay during PVR recording. To do so,
proceed as follows:
In TV mode, press the
button. The currently selected programme then starts
being recorded. At the same time, a progress bar opens featuring the media but-
ton options.
You can select these options during the timeshift recording:
−
: Stops the recording
−
: Time-delayed playback of the current recording. The recording runs in the
background again (timeshift function)
Then press the
button. The current recording is now played back starting
from the time the recording began. The recording continues to run in the back-
ground, allowing the programme to be played back with a time delay.
The following options can only be selected when playing a recording:
−
: Activate A-B playback
−
: Stop playback
−
: Pause playback
−
/
: Fast forward/rewind
−
: Slow-motion feature (2, 4, 8, 16, 32 x slower)
−
: Set the time that playback is to start
−
/ : Skip forwards/backwards in 30-second increments
A-B playback:

button again. Pressing the
button several times defines the end point B. The
section between the two points is now repeated in a continuous loop. To exit
A-B playback mode, press

To exit timeshift mode, press
again. The current programme is then shown in
real time again. The started PVR recording continues running.
To stop this, press
again. Confirm the subsequent prompt by pressing
OK
.
If you are using the timeshift function during recording, a normal PVR re-
cording also always runs in the background, and this is then displayed in
the PVR recording list.
