9.8. PVR recording
Before starting a PVR recording, make sure that you have connected a USB storage medium
to one of the USB sockets and that you have made all the required settings under
SETTINGS >
PVROPTION
and
PVR FILE SYSTEM
.
In TV mode, press the
button. The currently selected programme starts being recorded auto-
matically:
You can select these options during the recording:
–
: Stops the recording
–
: Activate the Timeshift recording function (see section “Timeshift function during PVR re-
cording”).
To stop recording, press
. Confirm the subsequent prompt by pressing
OK
. The recording now
appears under
SETTINGS > PVR FILE SYSTEM > RECORD LIST
.
You can also open the PVR recordings list by pressing the
I N D E X
button.
You can select these options in the recording list:

Delete
(red button): deletes the selected recording
–
Ascent/Descent
(green button): sorts the recorded programmes in ascending or descending
order
–
Index
(yellow button): Sort by channel number, channel name or programme/service names
Select the recording you want from the
RECORD
and press
O K
to play it.
The following options can only be selected when playing a recording:
–
: Activate A-B playback (see section “Timeshift function during PVR recording”).

: Pause playback
–
/
: Fast forward/rewind
–
: Stop playback
–
: Set the time that playback is to start
9.8.1. Timeshift function
You can also pause the current programme and then resume playing it later.
In TV mode, press the
/ T I M E S H I F T
button. The programme is then paused and the timeshift
recording starts in the background.
Press the
/ T I M E S H I F T
button again to start the timeshift recording. The programme is now
played back with the delay.
To exit timeshift mode, press
.
Timeshift recordings are not stored permanently and shown in the list of recordings. The
timeshift recording is deleted during playback so that it is possible to view programmes with
a time delay continuously, without being limited to the storage capacity. The memory space
required always corresponds to the time delay.
