MP3
F
ORMAT
Your device has a CD to MP3 encoder that can make a recording directly
in the MP3 format through the Line In connection [4/5] or the installed
microphone.

Main Menu and continue with Step 4 if you want to record through
the installed microphone.
The setting must stand at
LineIn
if you want to record through the
Line In connection [4/5].
3.
Connect the device to an external device (a CD player, computer, hifi
system, etc.). The external device must provide the recording signal
by means of a 3.5 mm stereo jack connector.
4.
Press the A/B-REC Button [2], in order to start the recording.
5.
Start the playback of the recording device immediately now. The
screen will display that a recording file is being created and depos-
ited in the
Record
Directory.
6.
Press the A/B REC Button [2] again once, in order to end the re-
cording.
