6 Discarding used lancets
1.
Open the lancing device by
twisting the protective cap in
a clockwise direction and
then remove it.
2.
Take out the used lancet
(without touching it directly)
and stick it into its protective
cover.
3.
Move the sliding switch, loca-
ted on the other side of the
trigger button, which ejects
the lancet. Dispose of the
lancet in a container for bio-
hazard material carefully to
avoid harming other people.
4.
After discarding, wash your
hands with soap and warm
water. Rinse and dry tho-
roughly.
