battery performance.
OPERATING THE COMPRESSOR NEBULIZER
1. Assure the unit can be easily reached from a comfortable upright
position. Place the compressor nebulizer on a flat and stable surface.
2. Open the cover and remove the jet nebulizer.
3. To disassemble the jet nebulizer, gently twist the top part of the jet
nebulizer counter-clockwise.
4. Fill the bottom section of the jet nebulizer (medicine cup) with the
medication prescribed by the physician. Break the ampoule and
pour the medication into the medicine cup. To prevent spillage, do
not overfill the medicine cup of the jet nebulizer. The maximum
capacity is 6ml (cc). (see diagram 1 on pg 7)
5. To reassemble the jet nebulizer, gently twist the top part clockwise.
Be sure the two sections fit well. (see diagram 2 on pg 7)
6. Attach either the mouthpiece or mask to the top outlet of
nebulizer.
NOTE:
You may also use the air tubing to connect the
nebulizer to the compressor unit. To connect, insert connector end
of air tube into the compressor air output port, and insert the other
end to the bottom of the jet nebulizer. (see diagram 3 & 4 on pg 7)
7. Replace the jet nebulizer onto the compressor making sure it sits
firmly on the compressor air output port by gently pushing down on
it until it fits securely into position. (see diagram 5 on pg 7)
8. Connect the Compressor to a power source:
USING THE AC ADAPTER:
1. Insert the AC adapter plug into the unit.
2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard AC electrical outlet.
USING BATTERY PACK:
When electrical power is not available, the Compressor Nebulizer
can also operate with the rechargeable battery pack.
1. Place the compressor on top of the battery pack and slide
forward to affix.
2. To remove battery pack, press the release button under
power switch. (see diagram 6 on pg 7)
