CLEANING
• Keep the safety devices, ventilation
openings and the motor housing free
from dust and dirt.
• Clean the product after it has been used.
• Wipe clean with a clean cloth, or blow
clean with compressed air at low pressure.
• Clean the product at regular intervals with
a cloth moistened with water and a mild
detergent. Do not use strong detergents
or solvents, they can damage the plastic
parts. Make sure that no water gets into
the product.
• Disconnect hoses and pneumatic tools
from the compressor before cleaning.
Do not clean the compressor with
water or solvent.
Cleaning the air filter
1. Turn the air filter casing (12) in the
direction of the arrow and remove it.
2. Take the paper insert (i) out of the filter
housing.
3. Tap the paper insert (i) and filter housing
to shake off any impurities. Vacuum clean
the insert and filter housing if necessary.
Refit in the reverse order.

MAINTENANCE OF AIR TANK
IMPORTANT:
Drain all the condensation from the air tank (2)
after use to reduce the risk of rusting.
Relieve the pressure in the air tank first by opening
the safety valve (14), unscrewing the condensation
drain plug (1) (screw anticlockwise), and allowing
the condensation to run out. Replace the drain
plug (screw clockwise). Check the air tank before
use for signs of rust and other damage. Do not
use the compressor if the air tank is damaged or
rusty – contact an approved service centre.
• The compressor must only be used as it is
intended to be used. All other use is
considered to be unsuitable.
• The product is not intended for commercial
or industrial use. Commercial or industrial
use will invalidate the warranty.
HOW TO USE
Starting/stopping
Put the switch (8) in position "I" to start the
compressor. Put the switch (8) in position "0"
to switch off the compressor.
SETTING THE WORKING PRESSURE
The air pressure can be read off on the pressure
gauge (6) and adjusted with the pressure
reduction valve (7). The set pressure is taken
out through the quick-coupling (5).
PRESSURE SWITCH
The pressure switch is set at the factory and the
difference in pressure between starting and
stopping is normally 2 bar – the compressor
normally starts when the pressure in the air
tank has dropped to 6 bar and stops when the
pressure increases to 8 bar.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
• Switch off the product, pull out the plug
and wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped before cleaning or
maintenance – risk of electric shock and
serious personal injury.
• Wait until the product has cooled – risk
of burn injury.
• Relieve the pressure in the product
before cleaning or maintenance – risk of
personal injury.
