Change the hydraulic oil after every 150 h of
operation.

Stop the product. Make sure that all moving parts
have completely stopped.

Pull out the power plug.

Turn the product to its short side to the ground with
the motor down.

Loosen the oil filler screw (C). (Figure 2)

Tip the product to its support legs and let the oil go
out into a container that holds a minimum of 2.4 l.

the motor down.

Fill with hydraulic oil.

Tighten the oil filler screw.

Turn the product to its operation position.

Make sure that no oil leaks out.
5.2 To sharpen the wedge

Remove burrs and damage on the edge on the wedge
with a fine file.

Clean the product with a dry cloth.

The motor does not start.
The overload protection is applied.
Let the motor become cool. Push the reset
button for the overload protection.
The wooden log does not split.
The wooden log is not in correct

The edge on the splitting wedge is
blunt.
