MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Remove the battery before cleaning – risk of
personal injury and material damage.
• Wipe the product with a damp cloth.
NOTE:
Do not use detergents or solvents, they can
damage the plastic parts.
• Clean the ventilation openings on the
motor with a soft brush.
• Clean and oil the spindle.
• Clean the product after it has been used.
• Never clean the product under running
water.
• Never attempt to drill a larger spindle
hole in the disc.
• Never use a bushing or adapter to fit
discs with a larger hole than the spindle
on the product.
• Only use the supplied clamp flange to fit
the disc. The shims between clamp
flange and disc must be made of an
elastic material, such as rubber, soft
cardboard or the equivalent.
USE
STARTING/STOPPING
1. To start the product, press the power
switch button (5) and move it forward.
2. To switch off the product, press the power
switch button (5) and move it back.
3. Start the product and wait until the disc
has reached maximum speed before
starting to work.
WARNING!
The disc continues to rotate after the motor is
switched off – risk of personal injury.
TESTING
Test before using for the first time and
after changing discs. Switch off the product
immediately if the disc starts to rotate
unevenly, or if the product vibrates abnormally
or makes an abnormal noise.
AUTO-SHUT-OFF OF BATTERY
The battery has a safety function that
automatically switches off the battery in the
event of overheating, overcurrent, and when it
is almost discharged.
