ADJUSTING THE GUIDE RAIL FOR
MITRE SAWING
1. When the parallel fence is locked in place
the guide rail can be fastened on it with
the clamps. The guide rail can easily be
moved back and and forward on the
parallel fence.

2. Release the lock knob for the guide rail
and move it to the required cutting angle
as shown on the scale. Tighten the knob
lock for the guide rail.

ADJUSTING THE 45° FENCE
Lift up the 45° fence, pull out the support and
put the ends in the corresponding holes in the
table. Check before cutting that the fence is
correctly adjusted and firmly in place.

WATER CONTAINER
1. Remove the 45° fence and fill the water
container with clean water to just over
the bottom edge of the blade. No more
than 1/4 of the blade should be under the
surface of the water.

2. After finishing the work, pull out the plug
on the container to drain out the water.

4. Hold the attachment for the blade guard
in place and fasten it to the table with the
screw and washer.

NOTE:
Check that the attachment for the blade
guard is in line with the centre of the blade.
Use the parallel fence to check.
5. Move the blade casing back to its original
position.

6. Screw the blade casing in place with the
washer and screw.

7. Replace the 45° fence.

8. Remove the thumb nut, screw and washer
from the blade guard.

9. Put the blade guard on the attachment.
Screw in place with the screw, washer
and thumb nut. Tighten the thumb nut
tight enough so that the blade guard
rests against the table, but lifts when the
workpiece is pressed against the blade.

POSITIONING
Because the product uses water the power cord
should be hung in a curve below the power
point to ensure that water cannot run along
the cord to the power point.

ADJUSTING THE PARALLEL FENCE
1. Release the clamps for the parallel fence
and put it on the table. Check that the
parallel fence is parallel with the blade.
