MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Switch off the product with the power switch
and pull out the plug before working on the
product.
Do not attempt to repair the product yourself.
Take it to an authorised electrician or service
centre.
Wait 5 minutes after switching off and
unplugging the product so that the capacitors
have time to discharge before carrying out
service or any other work on the product.
Never touch live parts.
• At intervals of 3 to 6 months, depending on
frequency of use and working conditions,
the side and top panels should be removed
and the inside of the product blown clean
with dry compressed air at low pressure.
Circuit boards and electrical components
and cooling fans should be blown clean
very carefully.
• Check the power cord, welding cables and
gas hoses for wear and cuts, and replace if
necessary.
• Keep MIG torches and return cables in good
condition.
• Clean the ventilation openings to ensure an
adequate flow of cool air.
