• Even with correct usage the saw constitutes some risk The nature of the saw
means that the following risks should be taken into account:
– Contact with the unprotected sawing chain (cuts)
– Unexpected, sudden movement of the guide bar (cuts)
– Hearing damage, if no ear defenders are used
– Breathing in harmful particles or exhaust gases from the engine
– Skin contact with petrol

• Some noise from the machine is unavoidable
• Noisy work should be limited to certain periods
