USE
Intended use
The machine is intended for private use and must not be used professionally.
Refuelling
Refuel as follows:
1.
Clean round the fuel cap.
2.
Unscrew the fuel cap.
3.
Refuel by using a funnel, or use a filler can with spout so that no fuel is spilled.
4.
Screw on the fuel cap.
5.
Move the rotavator at least 3 metres from the refuelling point before starting it.
Starting
NOTE:
Always check the oil level before starting. Otherwise there is a risk of serious damage to the
engine.
Start the machine as follows:
1.
Fold up the transport wheel by first pulling it forward, lifting it up and then locking it with the
pin in the top position.
2.
Set the throttle control to full throttle.
3.
Check that the blades are at a safe distance from any onlookers before starting the machine.
4.
Hold the handlebars with one hand and slowly pull the starter handle with the other hand.
When the starter engages, pull the starter handle quickly and firmly until the engine starts.
NOTE:
Do not pull the cord hard against its end position and do not allow it to snap back.
This can damage the starter.

5.
Set the throttle control in the required position. See above.
6.
Set the spur to the required depth by pulling out the pin, adjusting the depth of the spur and
then replacing the pin.
7.
Press down the clutch handle to run forwards. Pull down the safety pin and turn it to another
angle before pressing in the clutch handle to activate the clutch system. When the engine
is running the blades start to move when the lever is pressed down. The machine moves
forward and the blades start working the ground.
8.
Stop the machine by putting the throttle control in the “stop” position.
