DESCRIPTION FOR DRAWINGS A, B, C, D, E, F:
SAFETY RULES:
1. Always use the level according to its intended application area.
2. The level is an instrument that is furnished with a laser source of class 2 to
EN 60825-1:2007+AC1:2008
. It is strictly forbidden to gaze directly
into the laser beam. Direct exposure of eyes to a beam emitted by the laser
source of class 2 is free of hazard if it lasts less than 0,25 s. The eye blinking
reflex is usually the sufficient protection. Use of optical instruments, such
as glasses or binoculars does not increase the hazard of eye injuries.
3. Do never target the laser beam towards third persons or animals.
4. Do never make the instrument accessible to children or to other persons
who are not familiar with the content of this User Manual. They may
unintentionally blind themselves of other people.
5. Do never use any laser instrument that is positioned at the elevation of
heads of passing persons or nearby surfaces coated with light reflecting
materials. It may lead to uncontrolled reflections and hazardous
propagation of the laser beam.
6. Take care to avoid uncontrolled changes of the laser beam direction when
the instrument is in use and to protect eyes against direct exposure.

PREPARATION TO USE:
NOTE: Improper execution of checks or adjustments or application of procedures
different from the ones described in this Manual may lead to exposure to
hazardous radiation.
Prior to each use of the level one has to check the instrument for possible
defects or faults (e.g. sound condition of the housing, lack of deformations,
cracks, missing components). When any defects are detected the equipment
must be handed over to a service point to check its operation safety and to have
it repaired.

Installation and replacement of batteries
The laser level is supplied from two batteries of «AAA» type. To install batteries
unscrew the cover of the battery compartment (
4a
) and insert two «AAA» type
batteries with the negative (
-
) pole directed inward the instrument body. Close
the battery compartment (see Fig.
C
, page 1). If a prolonged downtime period
of the appliance is scheduled it is necessary to remove the batteries as they may
leak and lead to corrosion of the equipment or be subject to spontaneous
discharge.
CAUTION: Leaking batteries may lead to damage of the appliance. The battery
