ADX Software Overview
Setting up Assets
Assets are typically motors used to run machinery within an organization. The ADX system is built around Assets
because they are the devices that will be tested.
When the system is set up, Assets are created and associated with Test Configurations and Installations. In turn,
Installations and Assets are used to build Routes.
NOTE: In many organizations—such as repair or rewind shops—Assets are not installed on machines.
Instead, they are commonly assigned job numbers or similar control elements. In these cases, the job
number is often used as the Asset name, or the job number is assigned to the Asset as an attribute.

From any mode, touch the Asset icon to open the Asset Selection screen.
