Manual DC Tests
Use this screen to manually execute IR/DA/PI tests, along with standard, ramp, or step HiPot tests.
Icons at top right include an equipment stop indicator, test configuration edit, output device selected, save, help, and
exit screen.
From this screen, you can make the following adjustments if needed:
Use the Temperature Compensation drop-down list to select insulation conductor material type.
Define the ACTUAL temperature and CORRECT TO values so measurements are properly compensated for your
conditions.
Set the Ramp Rate using the slider to provide a faster or slower ramp rate when applying test voltage. Slower
ramp rates can reduce issues with overshooting target voltages or incurring overcurrent conditions. Slower rates
can also improve accuracy when ramping to target voltage levels.
Select whether Current and/or Megohms (MΩ) will appear in the test results display.
Fields at the bottom display time remaining in the selected test (in seconds), and results as each test is conducted.
Corresponding fields at the top of the graph display numerical values measured during each test increment.
