SAFETY
WARNINGS
■
Safety warnings and precautions must be read and understood before the instrument is used.
They must be observed during use.
■
The oil test set must be properly earthed.
■
The test chamber must be kept scrupulously clean.
■
If the test chamber cover is cracked or damaged in any way the test set must not be used, but sent for repair to an authorised agent.
■
The chamber door hinges are fitted with earth contact springs. These must not be damaged or corroded.
■
The correct type of oil test vessel must be used, and correctly positioned on the support horns before carrying out any testing.
■
Replacement fuses must be of the correct type and rating.
NOTE
THE TEST SET MUST ONLY BE USED BY SUITABLY TRAINED AND COMPETENT PERSONS.
TO PREVENT DAMAGE DO NOT TRANSPORT INSTRUMENT WITH TEST CELL FITTED IN TEST CHAMBER.
