SAFETY WARNINGS

The Test Set must be properly earthed before use.
•
The output terminals must be clean and free of grease and dirt before switching on.
•
The output test leads must be of the correct rating.
•
The Test Set must be switched Off by the power switch before any connections on the set
or the equipment under test is touched.
•
After a period of testing under full load, the terminals and lead connectors may be hot.
•
The equipment under test must not be touched while the power is switched On.
•
The permitted duty cycle must not be exceeded.
•
Replacement fuses must be of the correct type and rating.
•
The main current terminals must not be connected to a live potential.
•
The Test Set must be switched Off when resetting circuit breakers.
•
Refer also to page 10 for further explanations and other precautions.
•
Warnings and Precautions must be read and understood before the Test Set is used.
They must be observed during use.
