SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and keep it along with the receipt, warranty and,
if possible the original box with the packing. This will ensure optimum results and maximum safety. Save
these instructions for future reference. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the
operating instructions. The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged
purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources
of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance
with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. When cleaning or putting it away,
switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if
the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories. Do not operate the machine
without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the device off. Remove the plug from
the socket. Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the steam tank corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance. Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socked. The
device and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the
device must not be used. Never try to repair the appliance on you own. If the mains cord is the damaged,
it must be replace by a service center authorized or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid any
hazard. Use only original spare parts.
In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all
packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
The irons soleplate gets hot very quickly and it stays hot. It takes a while till gets cold again.
Do not touch the soleplate! When the appliance is not being used always place it on the stand or on its
heel. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure
that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped,
if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking. Do not put the hot iron on the supply hose or the
mains cord. Make sure that mains cord and the supply hose do not come into contact with the hot
soleplate.
Do not put perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids or other chemicals in the water tank.
Rinse the steam tank once a month or after 10 times of use to prevent damage to your iron.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved children shall not play with the appliance
