Tips
• Small hob cutters/point grinders: high
speed
• Large hob cutters/point grinders: low
speed
• For fine work, engraving etc. hold the
machine like a pen (fig. 4).
• For rougher work with the wire brush
etc. hold the machine like a hammer
shaft (fig. 5).
• When drilling, hold the machine
vertically downwards (fig. 6).
• The clamping shafts (c, e, g) (fig. 2)
(appendix) are easier to hold when
inserting the tools if they are pushed
into the hole in the universal wrench.

To insert, use the clamping shaft (c) with
screw. Loosening and tightening of the
screw with the universal wrench (10).
Grinding cylinder (Fig. 8)
For fine grinding or sanding work on
rounded or small surfaces.
Slide grinding cylinder onto the cylinder
clamping shaft (e). When the retaining
screw is turned, the rubber bead is
expanded thereby holding the grinding
cylinder in position.
Polishing felt (f) (Fig. 9)
For use with standard polishing pastes
for fine polishing work, removal of
scratches from lacquered or plastic
surfaces etc.
To fit, screw the thread of the clamping
shaft (g) into the felt.
Point grinders (h) (Fig. 10)
For sharpening cutting tools and for
removing sharp edges from metal and
plastics.
Traces of wear on the grinders can be
compensated by using the grinding
block (14). This improves the concentric
running of the tool.
