• Run the cutting disc to full speed at
the start of the work.
• Let the cutting disc run to a stop after
switching it off, NEVER STOP IT!
• Make sure that no one other than the
operator is allowed in the work area.
• The protective cover (1) must always
be mounted and move freely.
• Replace defective protective covers
immediately.
• Do not stand in line with the cutting
disc in front of the power tool, always
position yourself offset to the side of
the cutting disc. This protects your
body against possible kickback.
• Keep hands, fingers and arms away
from the rotating cutting disc.
• In the event of blockages, switch off
the device and pull out the mains
plug. Then remove the material to be
cut causing the block and restart the
machine.

7 – Assembly and adjust-
ment work
Assembling the splitting wedge
The machine is supplied with a split-
ting wedge. The splitting wedge is an
important safety feature and prevents
the diamond cutting disc from jamming
during cutting. For safety reasons, the
machine must never be used without the
splitting wedge in place. Splitting wedge
and contact guard are delivered pre-as-
sembled.
1. Loosen the clamping screws of the
pre-assembled splitting wedge slight-
ly with a screwdriver.
