• Is the device being used correctly

handles mounted and fixed securely
up against the body of the machine.
If your hands experience an unpleasant
sensation or the skin changes colour
while you are using the machine, stop
working immediately. Take sufficient
breaks. If you do not take sufficient
breaks, this may cause hand-arm vibra-
tion syndrome.
You should estimate the level of load
caused in conjunction with the work or
use of the machine and take the appro-
priate breaks. This method can be used
to considerably minimise the level of
load during the entire working time.
Minimise risks in which you are exposed
to vibrations. Take care of your machin-
ery in accordance with the directions in
the operation instructions.
If the machine is to be used frequently,
contact your dealer and arrange anti-vi-
bration equipment if necessary.
Avoid using the tool in temperatures of
t=10°C or lower. Draw up a working
schedule which can be used to minimise
vibration loads.

4 – Correct use
This random orbital sander only func-
tions in dry grinding mode and, using
the appropriate accessories, is suitable
for the following types of work: cleaning,
sanding, polishing of wood, metal and
mineral surfaces. Only use the machine,
tools and accessories for additional
tasks (observe the manufacturer specifi-
cations) when these fall under the speci-
fied scope of use. All other uses are
expressly excluded.
This unit may not be used by people
(including children) with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capacities, with a
lack of experience and without the
appropriate knowledge, unless they are
supervised by someone who is respon-
sible for their safety or have been
instructed by such a person with regard
to how the unit is to be operated.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the device.
The machine is intended only for use in
the household.
Improper use of the product
All applications carried out with the
device that are not listed in the “Correct
use” chapter will be considered improp-
er use.
Uses for which the tool is not designed
may cause risks and injury. Do not use
accessories that are not intended spe-
cifically for this electrical tool.
