IMPORTANT SAFETY REGULATIONS
When using electrical appliances the following basic safety instructions shall be
observed and carefully followed.
-
Carefully read through the instructions and warning texts before using the air-
curler. This will ensure that you get the best possible results from your aircur-
ler and avoid incorrect use. Save the instructions for future reference.
-
The aircurler shall only be used in accordance with the instructions enclosed.
-
When unpacking check that the aircurler has not been damaged during trans-
port. If so, the aircurler must be taken to a service workshop before it is con-
nected.
-
Plastic and cellular plastics are dangerous packaging materials! They shall be
handed in to an environmental recovery station.
-
Packing materials and consumed products shall be left/discarded at a munici-
pal site.
-
Check the label and type designation to ensure that the voltage and frequen-
cy correspond to the mains.
-
Damage to the mains flex increases the risk for electric shock and fire.
Therefore, always pull the plug out from the socket by means of the actual
plug- not by the flex or the aircurler. Never lift the aircurler by the flex. The flex
shall never be drawn over sharp edges, or be exposed to heat or chemicals.
Check that the flex is free from defects. If a fault is discovered, an authorized
technician shall always replace a damaged or defective flex.
-
This product is provided with a swivel-connected main flex which if damaged
shall be replaced with a flex of the same type and shall be fitted by an autho-
rized person.
-
Make sure that any extension flexes used are appropriate for the aircurler with
respect to operating conditions, current, type of insulation, and insulation
class.
-
Never connect the aircurler to a defective wall socket. The risk for electric
shock and short-circuiting increases.
-
Do not make holes in the aircurler casing. The function of the aircurler will be
impaired and the risk for electric shock and short-circuiting increases.
-
Any work carried out shall only be done by a qualified technician.
-
The aircurler is not waterproof! Do not use in wet areas.
-
Always pull out the plug from the wall socket when cleaning the aircurler.
-
The aircurler must not be used close to bathtubs, sinks or the like containing
water.
-
The aircurler must never be submerged in water or other liquid, neither during
cleaning or operation.
-
If the aircurler should be accidentally dropped in water or other liquid, the
plug must first be removed from the wall socket before lifting the aircurler out
of the water to avoid the risk for electric shock.
-
Always have the aircurler checked by an authorized technician before using
after it has been exposed to water.
-
Do not touch earthed objects, such as radiators, water pipes etc. when using
the aircurler. If the aircurler has an insulation fault there is considerable risk of
electric shock.
-
The bread can start to burn. Never use the toaster close to or under curtains
and other inflammable materials for this reason. The toaster should be under
supervision when in use.
-
Keep the aircurler under observation when in use.
-
Do not allow children to use the aircurler unless under the supervision of an
adult.
-
Warning for heat and hot surface.
-
Make sure that defective parts are repaired, and that the aircurler’s operating
reliability is maintained, before it is used.
-
To be used indoor only.
-
The rating label is fixed/imprinted on the unit.
-
The appliance has a warm surface. Persons insensitive to heat must use the
appliance with caution.
1. Styler, 2. Switch, 3. Curl release button, 4. Dual Volt selector, 5. Swirvel cord,
6. Hanging loop, 7. Round brush
0 = Off, 1 = Gentle warm air flow for easy styling., 2 = Stronger and warmer air
flow for rapid styling and drying.
VOLTAGE SWITCH 120V/230V
The curler must only be connected to the mains voltage marked on its housing.
Check that the switch is set to the mains voltage of your area. OTHERWISE THE
EQUIPMENT MAY SUFFER SERIOUS DAMAGE, NOT COVERED BY THE
GUARANTEE.
First remove the plug from the mains socket. Use a coin to turn the switch to its
proper position.
