NOTE: Only use the appliance for a
maximum of three minutes at a time. If the
appliance has been running for more than
3 minutes, leave it to cool down before you
use it again.
Use of grater function
1. Make sure that
the On/Off
button is set to
“0” (off).
2. Fit the
attachment
holder (16) onto
the drive shaft
in the middle
of the plastic
bowl with the
attachment pin
(15) facing upwards. Make sure that it is
pressed down as far as it will go.
3. Fit the grater attachment (14) on the
attachment holder with the selected
blade up.
o The long blade (17) is for grating or
slicing foodstuffs depending on their
consistency.
o The small curved blades (18) are
for grating or shredding foodstuffs
depending on their consistency.
4. Place the lid (13) on the appliance, and
turn counterclockwise, so that the pin
(9) clicks into place in the safety lock
(3).
o Make sure that the lid fits tightly.
o NOTE: The safety lock ensures that
the appliance cannot be turned on
if the lid or the safety lock pins are
not fitted correctly.
5. Place a bowl under the spout (21)
to collect the foodstuffs as they are
expelled from the appliance.
6. Insert the plug (7) in the mains socket
and switch on the power.
7. Switch on the apparatus by switching
the on/off button to one of the following
settings:
o "CHOP" (lowest speed)
o "SLICE/SHRED" (highest speed)
o "GRIND" (the appliance only runs
as long as the On/Off button is held
at this setting).
8. Add foodstuffs to the appliance through
the funnel (20).
o If necessary, use the tamper (12)
to press foodstuffs down into the
appliance.
o The tamper can also be used as a
plug to keep juices from spraying
out of the appliance.
9. Turn off the appliance by turning the
On/Off button to “o” and remove the
plug from the socket.
Wait until the blade has come to a
complete stop before removing the lid.
NOTE: Only use the appliance for a

appliance has been running for more than
3 minutes, leave it to cool down before you
use it again.
Storage
• Ensure the appliance is clean and dry
before storing.
• The appliance contains sharp parts
- keep out of the reach of children.
CLEANING
• Remove plug from the mains socket,
and allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it.
• The motor section must not be
submerged in any form of liquid.
• NOTE: Do not put any part of this
appliance in the dishwasher!
• Clean the appliance by wiping it with
a damp cloth. A little detergent can be
added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
• Never use a scouring pad, steel wool or
any form of strong solvents or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the appliance,
as those may damage the outside
surfaces of the appliance.
• The plastic bowl and attachments can
be washed with ordinary soapy water.
• Be careful not to touch the sharp edges
of the blades!

Plug wiring:
This product is fitted with a BS 1363
13-amp plug. If you have to replace the
fuse, only those that are ASTA or BSI
approved to BS1362 and with a rated
current of 13 amps should be used. If there
is a fuse cover fitted, this cover must be
refitted after changing the fuse. If the fuse
cover is lost or damaged, the plug must
not be used. You must also check if
the socket outlets in your home fit with the
plug of the appliance. If the socket outlet
in your home does not fit with the plug,
the plug must be removed and disposed
of safely as insertion of the plug into the
socket is likely to cause electric hazard.
As this product is a class II appliance, the
pin of BS plug for earth
connection is false.
