INSTRUCTION MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new appliance, please read this user guide carefully before using it
for the first time. Take particular note of the safety precautions. We also recommend that you
keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the functions of
your appliance.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•
Incorrect use of this appliance may cause personal injury and damage to the appliance.
•
Use for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injury or
damage resulting from incorrect use or handling.
•
For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or commercial use.
•
Plugin the appliance only to a proper 230V, 50Hz power outlet only. The appliance must be
earthed.
•
Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water and make sure no water enters the
appliance.
•
Never touch the appliance, cord or plug with wet or damp hands.
•
Do not expose to direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, dust or corrosive substances.
•
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
•
Children shall not play with the appliance.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
•
Only use accessories manufactured or recommended by the manufacturer.
•
Always place the appliance on a dry, level, and heat-resistant surface well away from any
edges. Always place the appliance at a safe distance from objects such as curtains, table
clothes or similar.
•
The appliance must not be placed or stored near other sources of heat.
•
Do not cover.
•
Never insert your fingers or any metal objects into the openings of the appliance as this
could cause electrical shock.
•
The metal parts get very hot during use. Do not touch them due to the danger of burns.
•
Please note that the appliance will remain hot for a while after you switch it off. Always
allow it to cool completely before you put it away or clean it.
•
The appliance should be regularly emptied of crumbs, as these could cause fire. The
appliance must not be used without a crumb tray.
•
Foods wrapped in foil or similar and very thick slices of bread must not be heated in the
appliance, as this could promote fire hazard.
•
Do not let the cord hang out over the edge of the work surface.
•
Check that it is not possible to pull or trip over the cord or any extension cord.
