Trouble Shooting Guide
Problem
Water drips from the holes
on the base of the iron when
turning on the steam switch
(H).
The iron does not heat and the
LED (K) does not light up.
No steam comes out when
pressing the steam switch (H)
Leak from the boiler filler cap
The boiler cap (F) does not
unscrew easily
Reason
Iron thermostat control (J) is
set to the minimum position

The boiler is too full.
The boiler is in a tilted position.
The switch (A) is “off”.
Iron thermostat control (J) set
to the minimum position.
Faulty power connection.
Empty boiler
Switches (B) and (A) are “off”
Cap (F) not properly closed
Safety valve activated
There is steam remaining inside
the boiler
Action
Set the thermostat control to
the steam zone •••
Remove some water.
Place it on a horizontal surface.
Switch it to “on” (A)
Adjust the thermostat control.
Check the power points.
Fill the boiler with water
Switch them on
Let the boiler cool and screw
the cap (F) to the end again
Go to an authorised Technical
Service Centre
Press the steam switch (H) to
let the steam out
