3.4.1. Set the temperature control knob (E) to position

intense “Burst” of steam is emitted from the soleplate.
3.5.2. To prevent water leaking from the soleplate, do
not keep the burst of steam button pressed in for longer
than 5 seconds
3.6. Spray setting:

be damped down to make them softer and easy to iron.

even when in the vertical position. This function is
especially useful for refreshing clothes and curtains.
4. Cleaning and maintanence:
4.1. Before cleaning the iron ensure that it is
disconnected from the power supply and has
completely cooled down.
4.2. Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
4.3. Self-cleaning:
NB: “Self-cleaning” needs to be done at least every
2 months to remove impurities.
4.3.1. Fill the water tank to the MAX position.
4.3.2. Set the temperature control to MAX.
4.3.3. Insert the mains plug to the mains wall socket.

switches off. Then set the temperature to MIN position.
4.3.5. Hold the iron horizontally over the sink, then
press and hold the self-clean button for approximately
5-10 seconds.
4.3.6. Boiling water and steam will now be ejected from
the holes in the soleplate. The impurities are washed
away with it. Gently move the iron back and forth while
this is happening.
4.3.7. Repeat this process if there are too many
impurities visible.
4.3.8. Dry the soleplate with a preferably old cloth.
4.3.9. Unplug and allow to cool completely before
storing it.
4.4 Storage:

the water tank and the iron to cool down completely.

an upright position.
