3.5.4. Assemble the processor lid into the processor
bowl and secure properly.
3.5.5. Insert food through the chute by using the food
pusher only; do not use your fingers.
3.5.6. If the food is too large to fit into the chute, cut it
into smaller pieces
3.5.7. Start the motor by pressing switch (A)

3.6 Instructions for using the turbo function

3.6.1. The Turbo button is used when you need short
bursts of power at the optimum speed. This is con-
trolled by the user which means you control how long
the machine is run for. It is a useful way of avoiding
over-processing. For example , it can be used for an
extra burst of blending at the end of a mix to smooth
the mixture a little more.
3.6.2. To use the turbo feature, lower the stick blender
shaft into the food and hold down switch (B) for the
duration you wish to use the turbo function.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance

4.1. Unplug the appliance and remove the accessory
used
4.2. Do not immerse the detachable shaft of the
blender in water because overtime the lubrication on
the bearings may wash away. Wash the detachable
shaft under running water, without the use of abrasive
cleaning agents or detergents.
4.3. After cleaning the detachable shaft, place it upright
so that any water which may have got in, can drain out.
4.4. Wash the measuring beaker, processing bowl,
beater and blades in warm soapy water. The bowl and
the beater are not recommend to place in a dishwash-
ing machine as the plastic components can deteriorate
through prolonged use of dishwasher cleaning.
4.5. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never
immerse it in water for cleaning as electric shock
may occur.
4.6. Dry thoroughly.
Caution: Blades are very sharp, handle with care.

5. Anomalies and repair

5.1. Take the appliance to an authorised support centre
if product is damaged or other problems arise.
5.2. If the connection to the mains has been damaged,
it must be replaced and you should proceed as you
would in the case of damage.
