CD OPERATION
With the power on, press the EQ but-
ton to cycle through the preset EQ
settings, or to turn the EQ off. Each
press of the PRESET EQ button will
cycle as follows: CLASSIC - POP -
JAZZ - ROCK - NORMAL.
NOTE:
To operate this function,
there must be a CD inside the CD
compartment.

To turn the unit on,
press and hold the
Play/ Pause (
) /Power On button

To turn the unit off,
press and hold the
Stop (

) /Power Off button

until the
unit turns off. The unit will automatically
shut off if stopped (CD Standby) for one
minute.

TURNING POWER ON /OFF
Slide to the HOLD position to disable
the buttons; the Hold indicator (Lock)
will appear in the display. Slide to the
OFF position to enable the buttons; the
Hold indicator will disappear.

Sound Through a Home Audio System
By using a home audio connection cable (not included), superb sound can be
heard through your home audio system. Before making any connections, turn off
the power to all equipment.
Plug a connection cable (not included) between the LINE OUT jack on the side of
the CD player and the ampli
fi
er’s AUX or CD input jack. (Do not connect it to the
ampli
fi
er’s PHONO jack.)
NOTE:
If the radio interferes with TV reception, move the unit away from the TV or
turn off the power to this unit.
