1.
Lift out the control panel with the heating
element from the slots by pulling it up from
the bottom with one hand and holding the
appliance in place with the other.
2. Remove the oil container from the deep-
fryer.
3. Wash the oil container and deep-fryer
basket with hot water and washing-up
liquid. Do not use abrasive substances or
materials. Wipe thoroughly dry before use.
WARNING!
Do not immerse the control panel, the power
cord or plug, in water or any other liquid –
risk of electric shock.
NOTE:
The oil container, deep-fryer basket, handles,
permanent filter and the lid can be washed
with hot water and washing-up liquid.
USE
WARNING!
Never plug in the plug if the oil container
is not properly inserted and filled with oil.
Check that the control panel is correctly fitted
on the casing and that the heating element
in the oil container is covered with oil before
plugging in the plug.
1. Fill up with oil to between the Min and
Max markings on the inside of the
container. Do not use the appliance with
too little or too much oil in the container.
The level of the oil must be between
the Min (2.0 litres) and Max (3.0 litres)
markings on the inside of the container.
2. Different types of vegetable oil can be
used. Do not use olive oil, margarine,
butter, tallow, lard, or the equivalent.
Never mix different types of oil or fat, and
never mix old oil and new oil.

ASSEMBLY
1. Put the oil container in place in the casing.
2. Align the guides on the control panel to
the rails on the metal casing.

3. Push down the guides as far as possible.
NOTE:
The appliance has a safety switch to prevent
it from starting if the control panel is not
correctly fitted on the rails on the casing.
4. Fasten the handle on the deep-fryer
basket by pressing the ends of the handle
together and inserting them in the fixture
(the two holes) on the basket (1). Lift up
the handle to lock in place, as shown in
the diagram (2).

USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Remove all the packaging material and any
stickers from the appliance.
WARNING!
• Never plug in the plug if the control
panel is not properly inserted.
• Never plug in the plug if the appliance is
not properly assembled and the heating
element is covered with oil.
• Do not immerse the control panel, the
power cord or plug, in water or any
other liquid – risk of electric shock.
• Never attempt to boil water in the
appliance.
