MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
• Pull out the plug and allow the coffee
maker to cool before cleaning.
• Never immerse the coffee maker, the power
cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
CLEANING
1. Wash all the loose parts in hot water and
washing-up liquid after use.
2. Wipe the coffee maker with a soft, damp
cloth.
3. Drops of water can collect over the funnel
and drip down onto the hob during the
brewing. To avoid this, wipe with a clean
dry cloth after use.
4. Carefully wipe the hob with a damp cloth.
Never use abrasive detergents.
5. Replace all the parts so that the coffee
maker is ready to use again.
DESCALING
Clean and descale the coffee maker regularly
for best functionality. Use 30 ml of vinegar to
one pot of cold water.
1. Make sure that the filter holder is empty.
2. Fill the reservoir to the MAX mark with the
vinegar mixture.
3. Put the pot on the hob.
4. Check that the filter holder (without
coffee) and filter) are fitted correctly.
5. Start the coffee maker and let the vinegar
mixture trickle through.
6. When one cup of the mixture has run
through, switch off the coffee maker.
7. Wait 15 minutes and repeat steps 3–5.
8. Start the coffee maker and allow the rest
of the mixture to run through, so that the
reservoir is empty.
9. Rinse by filling the reservoir with cold
water and allow this to run through.
Repeat this at least three times.
