SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 

Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use! 

The appliance is only intended for household use. 

Always follow these basic safety instructions when using electrical appliances. 
1. 

Never leave the appliance unattended when the power cord is plugged in. Unplug the power cord 
before removing the filter and when the appliance is not in use. 

2. 

Do not use the appliance outdoors or on wet surfaces – risk of electric shock. 

3. 

Children must be supervised to make sure they do not play with the appliance. Close supervision is 
required when the appliance is used by or near children. 

4. 

The appliance may only be used in the intended manner and in accordance with these instructions. 
Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer. 

5. 

Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged. Do not use the appliance if the cord 
or plug is damaged, if the appliance is not working normally, if it has fallen over or if the appliance 
is damaged in any other way. Return the appliance to an authorised service centre to be checked, 
repaired or adjusted.

Do not carry or pull the machine by the power cord. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and 
sharp edges. Do not run over the power cord.

Do not pull the power cord to disconnect the plug from the mains socket.

Do not handle the appliance, power cord or the plug with wet hands. Never insert any objects or 
body parts in the equipment’s openings. Keep the ventilation openings clean.

Keep hair, clothes, hands and the rest of your body away from the moving parts.

Turn all controls to the off position before inserting or removing the power cord.

17.  Do not use the machine in explosive environments, such as in the vicinity of flammable liquids, 

gases or dust. 

18.  Unplug the power cord before connecting or disconnecting the suction hose. Always hold the plug 

when winding up the cord.

Only use the appliance on dry surfaces indoors.

Store in cool, dry place indoors.

Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. 

23.  Keep your head, face and other body parts away from the suction hose and openings on the 

appliance when the power cord is plugged in.
