TROUBLESHOOTING
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord before troubleshooting.

Plug in the power cord.

Check fuse and mains
outlet.
The display is defective.
Contact your dealer.
The mains fuse has
tripped.
The circuit is overloaded.
Disconnect any other
appliances from the
circuit.
The appliance is defective.
Contact your dealer.
Water is running from the
appliance.
Too much water in the
reservoir.
Do not overfill.
The coffee is running very
slowly down into the pot.
The drip stopper valve is
clogged.
Clear the drip stopper
valve.
Scale in the appliance.
Descale the appliance.
Coffee is running out onto
the hot plate.
The pot is incorrectly
positioned.
Put the pot directly under
the middle of the filter
compartment.
Coffee does not run down
into the pot.
The pot lid is not properly
fitted.
Fit the lid correctly.
The coffee is too weak.
Too much water in the
reservoir.
Use a suitable amount of
water for the required
number of cups.
The ground coffee is not
transferred to the filter
compartment.
The grinding spindle is
blocked.
Clear the grinding
spindle.
Excessive formation of
steam during the brewing.
A lot of scale in the
appliance.
Descale the appliance
several times.
