Read these instructions carefully before use
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This product must only be used for its intended purpose as specified in these instructions.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid
– risk of electric shock.
Switch off the appliance before unplugging or plugging in the power cord. Do not pull the power
cord to disconnect the plug from the mains socket.
Do not let the power cord come into contact with hot surfaces. Allow the appliance to cool before
putting it away. Wind the power cord loosely round the appliance before putting it away.
Unplug the power cord before filling/emptying water and when the appliance is not in use.
Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged, if the appliance is not working normally, if
it has fallen over or if the appliance is damaged in any other way. Do not dismantle the appliance or
try to repair it
– risk of electric shock. Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Close supervision is required when the appliance is used by or near children. Never leave the
appliance switched on or unattended on the ironing board.
Risk of burn injury and/or scalding as a result of hot parts, hot water and/or steam. Be careful when
turning the appliance up and down
– hot water in the reservoir can cause scalding.
The appliance is not working properly if the fault status lamp goes on. Unplug the power cord and
contact your dealer.
Special instructions
The appliance should be connected to a separate circuit.
If you are using an extension cord, the conductor cross section must be sufficient for the
appliance's power supply. Unsuitable extension cords can cause a fire and/or electric shock.
Unplug the power cord so that there is no risk of tripping over it.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
Do not leave the appliance switched on in the vicinity of fabric or flammable surfaces.
Unplug from the power cord when the appliance is not in use.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.

Never leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
Unplug the power cord before filling/empting water.
