• Throttle grip ‑ Controls engine speed and shifting. The
outboard has three gear shift positions to provide operation:
forward (F), neutral (N), and reverse (R).

• Choke/fast idle ‑ Pull out when starting a cold engine.
• Fuel primer ‑ Press in when starting a cold engine. Refer to
Operation - Starting the Engine
.
• Low oil pressure warning light ‑ Warns the operator the engine
has low oil pressure. When the low oil pressure light is on or
is blinking, the engine will run rough and will not exceed 3000
RPM.
• Electric start button (electric start models) ‑ Press button to
start engine.
