Important information:

●

Ensure an adequate supply of fresh air in rooms where fuel-burning
appliances are operated that require a chimney-stack.

●

The installation of the fans must comply with DIN/VDE 0100 Part 701.
They can be installed in rooms with high humidity directly over the bath
(zone 1).

●

Maximum ambient temperature 45° C.

Wall mounting:

1. Remove front plate (A) with its integral filter.

2. Detach the inner cover (B). Remove the middle retaining fixing screw of

the fan unit. Take the fan unit (C) out of the housing (D).

3. Cut the ventilation pipe NW100 to the thickness of the wall (including

plaster/tiles) less 124 mm. Fit the ventilation pipe flush with the outside
wall (sloping slightly outwards).

4. Create an opening in the inner wall measuring 235W x 210H x 124 mm.

This opening is used to hold the fan housing and leaves enough space to
fix it in place with mortar or foam.

5. Feed the cable through the conduit entry hole in the fan case. Make sure

knock-out hole for cable has smooth edge to avoid damage to supply
cable insulation.

6. Attach the grommet ring to the housing connector piece. Insert the

housing connector piece into the ventilation pipe and align the housing.

7. Fix the fan housing in place with mortar or foam. Ensure that (E) ends

flush with the (tiled) wall.

Ceiling mounting:

1. Remove front plate (A) with its integral filter.

2. Detach the inner cover (B). Remove the middle retaining fixing screw of

the fan unit. Take the fan unit (C) out of the housing (D).

3. Create an opening in the ceiling measuring 190 x 165 mm.

4. Construct a wooden frame between two joists (as illustrated).
