Safety regulations
• Read the manual before use. Keep the manual and sales receipt for later reference if needed.
• If the conditions of use are not adhered to, the manufacturer will not be liable for any damage or injury resulting from the use of this
• Device.
• Children under 8 years old should not use this device. Children aged 8 years and older should only use the device if they are
supervised by an adult.
• The appliance must always be on a flat, stable and dry surface.
• Never use the appliance if there is damage or breaks in the cord.
• Never attempt to repair the device yourself if the appliance, the cord or the plug is damaged. Always have this done by the
manufacturer or a qualified technician.
• Always use and store the device in a dry place.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage connection.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never pull the cord to disconnect the plug from the power supply.
• Always remove the plug from the power supply when the device is not in use or when you have no view of the device.
• Always remove the plug from the power supply if it is to be serviced or cleaned.
• Never use the appliance near hot or warm objects (direct heat sources).
• Do not allow the device to come into contact with rain.
• Do not place other electrical appliances in the appliance.
• Do not place any chemical or explosive agents in the device.
• This appliance is only suitable for household use.
• When using AC power, use a grounded AC outlet.
• Only use the DC 12V or the 230V connection cable. NOTE: Never use both energy sources at the same time.
• Before cleaning, remove the products from the appliance and unplug the power supply. Clean only with a slightly damp cloth, if
necessary a non-aggressive cleaning agent can be used. After cleaning, always dry all wet surfaces with a dry cloth.
• Never use sharp or abrasive products to clean the device.
• Precautions should be taken to comply with national regulations regarding the use of gas appliances while the vehicle is moving.
• Important advice for good use: due to the energy policy, this cool box should mainly be used in gas mode.
• Defrost the appliance regularly to ensure that the appliance functions optimally.
For use
• Remove all packaging materials from the device.
• Place the device on a flat and stable surface with at least 10cm free space on each side.
• Wipe the inside of the appliance with a warm and slightly damp cloth.
• To ensure good air circulation, do not block the ventilation grilles on the top, bottom and back of the appliance.
• When operating on a boat, make sure that the power supply is equipped with an earth leakage circuit breaker.
• Please review the above terms of use before use.
Operation on power (12v or 220-240v)
• Never use different energy sources at the same time.
• Check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage displayed on the device.
• If the electrical specifications are correct, plug the electrical safety plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
• Turn thermostat to “MAX”. The cooling process only becomes apparent after about an hour (icing on evaporator).
• Then set the thermostat to the desired position.
• Turn the thermostat to 0 to switch the appliance off. The plug can then be removed from the power supply.
Operation on gas
• Never use different energy sources at the same time.
• Familiarize yourself with the appliance before connecting it to the gas cylinder.
• When operating on gas, the cool box may only be used outdoors and in well-ventilated areas. Operation of the gas cooler is
prohibited in road vehicles, on boats and in closed areas.
• The appliance must be in the open air (but not in the rain) when used with gas. This means that it can also be used under the canopy
of a tent, adequately ventilated, or on a terrace in an apartment and a garden.
• The recommended gas supply pressure is stated on the device in mbar. The device does not operate at any other pressure.
Storage of gas cylinder
• Store the gas cylinder in a cool, dry and ventilated area, protected from sunlight. The gas cylinder must not be exposed to
temperatures higher than 50 degrees.
Connection of the cool box to the gas cylinder
• Warning: Always stay away from any kind of ignition during this action. Do not smoke.
• Connect the cool box in the following way: Gas cylinder> pressure regulator> appliance
• The cool box works on propane / butane gas G30.G31 and is suitable for connection with a propane hose that conforms to EN559
