When using the switches as transmission route in alarm systems it is necessary to:

Set one switch to MASTER mode

When using DOMINUS alarm systems set RS485 port to DOMINUS mode
(19.2kbps, 9-N-1 line reset support).
7.3.3
In case of interconnection of 2G and 200-RS.E switches with Ethernet switches
we recommend setting of packet filtering according to source MAC Addresses. The
filtering guarantees safe separation from the surrounding network.
