Voltage:
Current:
10…60 V DC
1.3…8.0 A
Alternative 1
a)
To limit the power consumption of the blue'Log a DC power supply with
power limiter and a maximum output current of 8 A has to be used.
Alternative 2
a)
If the dimensioning mentioned under Alternative 1 is not possible due to local
infrastructure, the device protection must be carried out via appropriate pre-
fuses directly adjacent to the blue’Log on the power cables.
With a supply voltage less than 24 V DC a device protection of 8 A has to be
provided.
With a supply voltage equal or greater than 24 V DC a device protection of 6 A
has to be provided.
The protection fuse for the blue’Log must be located directly next to the data
logger.
b)
To disconnect the blue’Log from the power supply, an easily accessible
separator (disconnector) has to be installed in order to de-energize all
conducting parts if necessary. If an upstream automatic circuit breaker is
available it can be deemed to be a disconnector.
c)
The combination of pre-fuse (a) and disconnector (b) may also be replaced by a
DC-circuit breaker.
ATTENTION
Installation of the power supply
The installation of the power supply inclusive device protection must be
carried out by a qualified electrician.
