Standalone Mode
The SKALA Hub can be used offline as well. This is especially useful for native devices that
use the Hub as their interface such as the AQ1 and AQ2. It is entirely possible to use the
Hub solely as an interface for these devices without any network connection.
To access this mode click on “Standalone Mode” which will appear at the bottom of the user
list. This will also be the only option to show when there is no network connection. If there is
no connection, there will not be an option to logout of this mode.
When in Standalone Mode, devices that you connect to the Hub will show up on the screen
as seen to the right. You may immediately take a reading with any of those devices.
The reading will not be saved to any specific batch or product. It will only display on the
screen and will show up as in spec. It will be logged as a “No Name Reading” when network
connection is reestablished however. These readings can then be assigned to the correct
batch later.
