Speed-controlled mode (speed control)
In speed-controlled mode, a specific speed setpoint is specified. The servo drive
determines the actual speed
n_actual
by evaluating the encoder data. To ensure
compliance with the speed setpoint, the current setpoint
i_set
is determined.
To activate the speed-controlled mode, "Speed control" must be selected in the
"Commands" window.

overview of this operating mode to help you with using the associated menus.

This operating mode is used if the servo drive is controlled by a superordinate control
system, e.g. via an analogue input or via a fieldbus, so that positioning processes are
calculated by the control system, and if a superordinate, external position control circuit
and an external positioning control system are present.
