25.2 Hybrid broadcast broadband TV (HbbTV)
HbbTV is not available in all countries.
Broadcasting channels that provide HbbTV services can be recognised by the „
” logo in
the bottom left-hand corner of the screen as part of the programme information.
The programme information is displayed after pressing the blue
button; see also
Chapter 12.3.
HbbTV – set start-up properties
• Press
button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Menu" with the cursor and press the
button.
• Select "Network" with the cursor and press the
button.
• Select "Services" with the cursor in the context menu and press the
button.
• Select "HbbTV" with the cursor in the context menu and press the
button.
• Press the
button and select "Activate Manual" with the cursor.
To activate the "Start applications" of the channel:
• Press the
button and select "automatic overlay, yes" with the cursor.
If you select the “Manual” setting, the “Start application” will only be loaded when
pressing the red
button.
• Press the
button to confirm your selection.
• Press the
button to exit the menu.
If the Automatic Display bothers you, then select "No" under "Display automatically".
During playback from the media server, the
logo is displayed at the upper left of
the screen. Some of the remote control buttons can then be used for HbbTV functions.
If you wish to change the picture format or the sound functions during HbbTV opera-
tion, you must programme these features in advance using the function button
(only on black remote controls) or the
,
or
buttons (only on silver
remote controls); see Chapter 20.
HbbTV is not available during PVR playback or when the time shift function is
being used.
