15 Subtitles
People with a hearing impairment can make use of the subtitles function. By default,
the “Subtitles” function has to be activated first of all via the menu.
Switch subtitles on or off in general:
• Press
button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Menu" with the cursor and press the
button.
• Select "Subtitle" with the cursor and press the
button.
• Use the cursor to select "on" or "off" and press the
button.
When “Subtitle on” is set, subtitles are displayed whenever they are provided by the
broadcasting channel.
• Select "Select language" with the cursor in the context menu and press the
button.
• Set the desired language with the cursor and press the
button.
• Press the
button to exit the menu.
Temporarily displaying subtitles
When “Subtitle off” is set, it is possible to temporarily display the subtitles.
To do this, programme the “Subtitle” function on the
button (only for black remote
controls) or the
,
or
buttons (only for silver remote controls; see section
20).
• Press the
button or the
,
or
buttons, then use the numeric button
to select the field which is assigned the “Subtitle” function.
The subtitles are displayed until you change the channel.
